Kuchipudi Kalanidhi’s mission is to showcase the beauty, complexity and depth of Kuchipudi through performance and education. Kuchipudi Kalanidhi strives to make Kuchipudi accessible to all audiences, without compromising its integrity, core values, or traditions.

Kuchipudi Kalanidhi is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Kuchipudi, an Indian Classical dance style that originated in Andhra Pradesh, India. Founded by Anuradha Nehru in 1992, Kuchipudi Kalanidhi’s mission is to raise the profile of Indian Classical dance in the United States by presenting professional and outstanding quality dance productions and training the next generation of Indian Classical dancers to the highest standards.

Its activities include:

• Performances by the Kalanidhi dance company
• Partnering with other dance schools and dance companies to organize dance festivals, seminars and meetings of dance professionals from different backgrounds
• Lectures/demonstrations at Universities, schools, libraries, museums
• Classes for children 6 years and older
• Summer camps offering training in Kuchipudi by leading exponents of Kuchipudi from India
• Collecting and cataloguing books and articles on Kuchipudi and other Indian classical dance styles

In October 2005, Kuchipudi Kalanidhi formed a performance company called Kalanidhi Dance.
