On November 6th, we mark the end of our 25th anniversary with a grand finale performance: Kalanidhi@25. This dance retrospective follows the story of Kalanidhi Dance – from a modest school with only six students, to a thriving institution and internationally renowned company making our mark on the dance landscape. Kalanidhi@25, premiering at Washington, D.C.’s Lisner Auditorium, brings together time-tested favorites, unique collaborations, and stirring new choreography into an evening-length production. Kalanidhi@25 features friends and artists from across the country to share in our on-stage celebration. Highlights include an exciting collaboration with noted Kuchipudi artists Sasikala Penumarthi and Kamala Reddy Rajupet, and a medley of Kalanidhi’s most popular pieces performed by Kalanidhi alumni. The finale closes with Why We Dance, an original work inspired by the words of Kalanidhi dancers. Join us for Kalanidhi@25, an exciting journey that celebrates our past, present and future.
