Dancing Stories
Perfect for children ages 6 – 12, Dancing Stories brings childhood fables to life through Indian music and dance.
Recognizable tales like “Little Red Riding Hood” and “The Monkey and the Crocodile” introduce participants to the world of Indian dance in a fun and accessible format. Kalanidhi dancers teach participants how to tell stories through Kuchipudi hand gestures, body movement and facial expressions. This interactive workshop is a great way to expose children to Indian arts and culture, and experience a live dance performance.
