Meet the Artist with Padmashri Malavika Sarukkai

Kalanidhi invites you to meet Malavika Sarukkai, India’s leading Bharatanatyam exponent and listen to her speak about her life and creative journey as a dancer. Through an informally guided discussion, followed by a question-and-answer session, the students will learn about her training and background, her performance experience and what led her to dedicate her life to her art.

It is our hope that bringing younger dancers and students face to face with such histories and experiences, will inspire them, expand their knowledge, and create role models for them to follow.

To register please email: events@kalanidhi.org
